Curriculum
Children learn through play and interaction. PCCC offers children continuous opportunities to explore, create and discover the wonderfully exciting world around them. We encourage learning by:
Teacher:Child Ratios
We focus on learning development, not just child care. We divide our 5 learning rooms by age and empower teachers to create learning activities specifically for that age group. Our teacher-to-child ratio ranges from 1:3 to 1:10 depending on the age group.
Infants: child care for infants 6 weeks through 16 months with emphasis on an environment that caters to each child’s individual needs.
Toddlers: child care for toddlers 16 months through 2 years old with emphasis on exploration, manipulation, and language.
Preschool: full-day preschool for 3 to 5 year-olds with more emphasis on academic skills and Kindergarten readiness.
Before and After Care: before and after school care during the school year for kindergarten students through age twelve.
Summer Programs: full-day week-by-week summer camp program for elementary students 1st grade through age twelve. Two weekly field trips per week throughout the summer.
Drop Off Care: available for pre-registered parents as space allows. Call ahead to schedule.
Care is also available for teacher work days, snow days, and school holidays.
