Our Teachers

PCCC is very proud of the quality and commitment of its teachers and staff. PCCC boasts one of the highest average years of stay by its teachers for child care centers in the area. PCCC's executive director, Alice Duggan, and the preschool teacher, Missy Warner-Ross, have both served PCCC and its children since the doors opened in 1984. The remaining teachers and staff average 5 years of working at PCCC.

Teacher Spotlight

This spring PCCC wishes to highlight Heather Owens, who is the lead teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom.  Heather has been with Piedmont since 2003.  She has worked with the 12month-2yr old children the majority of that time.  Heather has built a curriculum rich in enhancing the early developmental milestones of our pre-toddler children, focusing on social-emotional, fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skills.  Heather also heads up the PPA (Piedmont Parents Association) and has her hand in a great amount of the parent-staff fund raising activities throughout the year.  She is the mother of four children and an integral part of PCCC.
