PCCC is very proud of the quality and commitment of its teachers and staff. PCCC boasts one of the highest average years of stay by its teachers for child care centers in the area. PCCC's executive director, Alice Duggan, and the preschool teacher, Missy Warner-Ross, have both served PCCC and its children since the doors opened in 1984. The remaining 20 teachers and staff average 5 years of working at PCCC.




Lisa Bruce has been an employee of Piedmont Child Care Center since 2002. She is a co-teacher in the Red Room with our 3 and 4 year olds. Lisa plans a curriculum rich in child exploration and material exploration.

We are especially appreciative to Lisa and her exemplary work heading up the Piedmont Parents Association (PPA). Under her direction, the PPA has succeeded in hosting several very successful events. The first being Octoberfest which is a fun fair, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and bake sale. Then, during the Christmas holidays the PPA hosted an Angel Tree which provided a wonderful Christmas for five area families. The PPA also organized a Silent Auction of themed Christmas baskets and a St. Patrick's Day spaghetti dinner. All of the proceeds from these fund raisers have gone to classroom supplies.
